Sharing a Taste of Holiday Tradition

The Buzz

This time of year, Kim (the founder of Aleia’s) sets aside a day in her home kitchen to bake her most delicately delicious melt-in-your-mouth holiday cookies, made from the cherished recipes passed down from her grandmother.

“These recipes are the way that I preserve the memories of my loved ones and pass down nostalgia through flavor.” – Kim Snow

One of Kim’s earliest memories of baking was making holiday sugar cookies with her Grandma Nona. Kim’s fondest childhood memories involved standing at Nona’s butcher block table, watching the perfected, handcrafted techniques and listening to family stories.

“I knew at a young age my Dad’s love affair with almond horn cookies was something special. Today I bake these cookies with the utmost respect and the same Italian-passion as my grandma, Nona. The smell of our almond horns is a wonderful memory trigger.” – Kim Snow

Today, Kim’s oven reveals mouth-watering batches of gluten-free chocolate-peanut butter cookies, jelly thumbprints, almond horns, date balls and oh-so-sweet combinations of magic bars.

Everyone has their go-to cookie recipes, but Grandma Nona’s date balls might be your new favorite. Kim is sharing the recipe, and we hope it’ll become a family favorite and a holiday tradition.

Dolce vita (sweet life) to you and your loved ones.

I really miss your gf Almond horn cookies they are a favorite if mine as well. Please bring them back. I also was wondering if you have stopped making your gf Peanut Butter cookies. They are my favorite cookie. They helped me adjust to the gf diet I have had to follow for the last 10 years according to my Doctors. Please say they have not been cut from you product line.
