Creamy, Cheezy, Panko-Crusted Potato Gratin pairs perfectly with any meal! Easter dinner is a holiday when tables are adorned with a colorful spread of flavor-filled dishes and heavenly desserts. A feast for the senses and a delight for the eyes and palate. Easter dinner would not be complete without a delicious potato side dish! A simple potato is one of the most versatile and loved ingredients for any Easter meal. There is no doubt that the classic potato gratin with its tender potatoes, velvety sauce, and crunchy crust is one of our favorites. You`ll love this recipe for cheezy potato gratin topped with crispy panko. How did yours turn out? Share with us!
CHEEZY PANKO CRUSTED POTATO GRATIN
Serves 6-8
INGREDIENTS
1 large clove garlic peeled and smashed.
1 tablespoon butter, softened.
2 ½ cups heavy cream.
1 ¼ teaspoons table salt
⅛ teaspoon ground white pepper (or ground black pepper)
1 ½ cups grated Gruyère cheese.
1 ½ cups Aleia’s Gluten Free Panko Original (1- 12oz. tub)
2 ½ pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8-inch thick or less. (Easily accomplished using a mandoline)
2-quart baking dish (we used a 7” x 11”)
PREPARATION
1) Adjust oven rack to center position and heat oven to 375°. Grease bottom and sides of a shallow baking dish with butter.
2) In a large mixing bowl add heavy cream, salt, pepper, smashed garlic, (this can be removed or left in while baking) sliced potatoes, and ½ cup Gruyère cheese, stirring to coat all potato slices.
3) Pour potato mixture into prepared dish; shake dish or use fork to distribute potatoes evenly. Gently press down potatoes until submerged in liquid; this will remove any air-bubbles.
4) Cover with tinfoil, place dish on a sheet tray (to catch any drips) and bake for 50 minutes.
5) Remove from oven, uncover, and test doneness with knife.
6) Turn oven heat up to 400 °
7) Sprinkle the top with 1 cup Gruyère cheese.
8) Place back in oven. When cheese is melted remove from oven and completely cover the top with Panko.
9) Place back in oven, bake until the top is golden brown. Keep an eye on the crumbs, they brown quickly!
10) Let rest for 5 minutes and serve.

Combine all ingredients in a covered jar and shake well.

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1) Boil the ingredients
Pour the sugar and water into a small saucepan, stir to combine, and then bring to a boil over medium heat.
2) Simmer
Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup is clear. This will take about five minutes.
3) Cool the simple syrup
Turn off the heat and allow the syrup to cool.
BIG FLAVOR TIP:
The addition of chopped shallots and this herb mix will elevate your salad to new levels.

These NEW GF, DF croutons have become a new favorite! Two flavors, Seasoned or Garlic. They are ridiculously delicious!! It`s hard not to eat them all right out of the bag! Kids love snacking on them! Our croutons are made from scratch with our wholesome gluten-free, dairy-free bread, simple ingredients you can pronounce, and no preservatives!

Nonna`s Meatballs
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 lb. ground beef
• 1/2 lb. ground turkey or pork
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano
• 1/4 cup Aleia’s breadcrumbs (we have used Aleia’s plain and Italian for this!)
• 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste.
PREPARATION
1. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and incorporate well. If too wet, add a little more Parmigiano and breadcrumbs. Mixture should be moist but hold together. Form meatballs (about 1 1/2-inch balls), and set aside.
2. Coat the bottom of a skillet with extra virgin olive oil. When the oil gets hot, add the meatballs, fry them on all sides ’til golden, then finish cooking them in tomato sauce. The meatballs are super moist and tender this way, and you can eat them with pasta, in a grinder, or just ladled onto a plate. Totally delicious!

Goat cheese and beets are a wonderfully delicious combination. Our tasty little goat cheese discs are taken to the next level by giving them a crunchy, golden crust to complement the creamy centers. A salad of mixed greens tossed with fresh herbs, shallots, orange segments, and sherry vinaigrette is placed on top of sweet, roasted beets. #CheeseLover These goat cheese discs are heaven-sent and incredibly easy to make. There is a bit more work involved with the beet salad, but it is well worth it.. and there are shortcuts to make it easier! Check out our website for the full recipe.
These would make a tasty addition to any salad!
Goat Cheese Disks:
1 (8-10 oz.) log of plain goat cheese
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 egg
1 cup Aleia’s Plain Breadcrumbs
Slice the goat cheese:
Place the goat cheese log in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up, do not freeze it. Remove from the freezer and slice the goat cheese log into 6 discs using a warm wet knife, rinsing the knife after each slice.
Fry the goat cheese disks:
1. Set up your dredging station with the egg wash and breadcrumbs. Working with one disc at a time, dip into the egg wash, then into the bowl of breadcrumbs, pressing firmly into the cheese. Top, bottom, and sides. Place the disc of cheese on a parchment-lined plate and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
2. Add enough oil to a skillet set over medium-high heat.
3. To test the oil, take a pinch of breadcrumbs and drop into the oil. If it starts to lightly brown, you know it’s ready.
4. Add half of the goat cheese discs and cook until golden and crispy. Carefully flip with a turner and cook the other side. It helps to tilt the pan one way and hold it there for a few seconds to brown the crumbs on the side as well.
5. Remove the fried goat cheese discs and place on a paper-towel lined plate.
6. Wipe out the skillet with paper towels, add additional oil and repeat the frying of the remaining goat cheese discs.
7. Serve warm.

4. Add half of the goat cheese discs and cook until golden and crispy. Carefully flip with a turner and cook the other side. It helps to tilt the pan one way and hold it there for a few seconds to brown the crumbs on the side as well.
5. Remove the fried goat cheese discs and place on a paper-towel lined plate.
6. Wipe out the skillet with paper towels, add additional oil and repeat the frying of the remaining goat cheese discs.
7. Serve warm.
