Thanks for purchasing our breadcrumbs! It’s great to hear you’re happy with them! Our Bread Crumbs have a twelve-month shelf life unopened and kept on the shelf as well as opened and refrigerated. They can also be kept in the freezer!

Hi Maureen,
CAN I FREEZE THE STUFFING?
The stuffing can be made ahead of time and frozen. However, this is not something we love to recommend.
If you decide to, follow these instructions:
• Prepare the stuffing according to the directions for oven baking.
• After it comes out of the oven, spread it out on a sheet tray to cool.
• Once it has cooled, choose a freezer-friendly container or bag that seals tightly to keep the contents fresh and prevent freezer burn.
• Place the frozen stuffing mix in the freezer. It is recommended to freeze the stuffing mix within 2-3 days of preparation.
• When you’re ready to use the frozen stuffing mix, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight or until it reaches a thawable consistency.
• Once thawed, bring the stuffing to room temperature so that it will re-heat evenly (this will take about 30 minutes).
• Be sure to add a splash broth or a little butter before reheating to prevent drying out.
• Warm it in a 350°F oven, covered, for 30-40 minutes until heated through. To re-create the crispy top that you have in freshly baked stuffing, remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of the baking time.
• You can also microwave to reheat. Be sure to add a splash of broth or a little butter before reheating to prevent drying out. We recommend covering it with a damp paper towel as you reheat. For a crisp top, you can finish it off in a 450-degree oven (uncovered) for 5 to 10 minutes.
Enjoy!

We use these in our meatballs and for coating chicken to be fried. They work very well and taste very good. My wife is a great cook and had made her own gluten free flour(s) or crushed rice crackers with the Italian type seasonings that I love for many years. But, I am perfectly happy with these breadcrumbs and they are so much easier and they keep very well in the fridge. Taste good and easy! My local Giant food store just stopped carrying them so that is why I am on-line trying to chase some down.

Hello Rose,
Thank you for contacting us. We are so sorry to hear about the trouble you had with our container. It’s certainly not the experience we wish for you to have.
Our containers have a small twist off tamper proof tab that is attached to the lip of the bottom container. You will find it in the front, top-right of the tub. There is also an arrow and “to open break tab” indicator. Once you snap that piece off you can remove the cover if you grab it at that notched area. It’s a plastic top that is nestled into the bottom tub. I am thinking you tried to remove the lip of the bottom container.
1. Put the power tools away!
2. Locate the to open break tab and snap it off.
3. In that 1” spot is where you remove the top lid. Pull it right up.
4. Do not try to remove the tub’s rim.
5. Create & enjoy!
Hope this helps!
Kindly,
Aleia’s

I bought these so I could make chicken cutlets for dinner. I’m gluten sensitive and I was so happy to find these! They taste delicious are are so similar to the breadcrumbs we used to make chicken cutlets when I was growing up. Thank you for making these so I can enjoy one of my favorite family recipes gluten-free!

Do I need to refrigerate this?
Aleia’s (verified owner) –
Hi Donna,
If you have prepared the oven baked stuffing ahead of time, it is best to refrigerate it!
Aleia’s (verified owner) –
Hi Donna,
Yes, it is best to refrigerate!
Make and bake the entire stuffing recipe ahead of time and refrigerate it. (Do not refrigerate uncooked stuffing). Bring the baked stuffing to room temperature so that it will re-heat evenly (this will take about 30 minutes). Be sure to add a splash broth or a little butter before reheating to prevent drying out. Warm it in a 350°F oven, covered, for 30-40 minutes until heated through. To re-create the crispy top that you have in freshly baked stuffing, remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of the baking time.
Enjoy!

The Best Gluten-free Breadcrumbs!!
I have 2 children with Celiac disease, and after trying a number different brands of gluten-free breadcrumbs, Aleias products are BY FAR the best!! We love the Italian, Plain and Panko as well. Our friends and their kids are unable to tell the difference when we fry some chicken cutlets or fish for them for dinner! They are also great in meatballs!!

best gluten free bread crumbs
We have tried many brands of gluten free bread crumbs and love Aleia’s the best. They hold up well, do not become soggy in cooking and have amazing flavor. My only disappointment is that I now have to buy them online because I cannot find them in a local store and the shipping charges are very high.
