Kimberly Snow - Co-Founder

You might say Kim was born to bake. From her auspicious beginnings at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America, Kim has been baking for over 30 years as the owner of a bakery, restaurant and manufacturing facility.  After apprenticing alongside some of the top chefs in the Northeast, Kim went on to become an executive pastry chef, and then paid it forward by teaching new students at the Connecticut Culinary Institute.  At her Zagat four star-rated restaurant, Aleia’s, Kim was the Chef de Cuisine and Pastry Chef and later, the Executive Chef at the James Beard House’s “Connecticut Shoreline Chefs Summer Outing”.

Her passion for clean, simple ingredients has its roots in growing and harvesting vegetables at a farm, and continues to this day in her very own backyard.  

Her focus on gluten-free foods developed after an auto-immune disease diagnosis.  It was then that Kim set out on her own personal mission to banish the bland and fight the flavorless, using her world-class culinary skills to create Aleia’s gluten-free, but flavor-full, foods.

Linda Allain - Co-Founder

Linda’s inspired and inventive vision has helped steer the Aleia’s brand at every turn from its very inception.  As our chief communicator, Linda wants the world to know that maximum flavor is always baked into every batch of Aleia’s products.  Linda has helped to cultivate our community of fans-  taste buds who always put flavor first and have exceptional taste.

Linda worked alongside Kim at the Zagat-rated Aleia’s restaurant, and has a true and enduring passion for the brand.  She also had a profound vision for what it could become.  Linda has helped to shepherd that vision into a reality, creating a huge following of flavor fanatics who love Aleia’s just as much as she does.


Jim Snow - Co-Founder

Jim likes to keep the bar high.  He makes sure that Aleia’s products get baked to exceed our stringent standards, and make their way to a shelf near you.  With years of operations experience under his belt, it’s up to Jim to ensure that Aleia’s products are of the highest quality and have crave in every crumb.  He also takes the show on the road, introducing both new retail partners and our valued customers to our tastetastic Aleia’s foods.
